Healthy Point Acupuncture
Our goal is to get you back to the healthy point, and help you stay there.
Healthy Point Acupuncture will be closing its physical location effective July 1, 2024.
After five years in operation, through the entire pandemic, I've decided to close my private practice.
It feels like the right time. See, I never wanted to be a business owner. My intention through acupuncture school was always to work for someone else, so that I could focus on the part of this process that I'm best at: helping people heal. Since taking a full-time position at the University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center Integrative Medicine and Health clinic in Lexington, that desire has only intensified. When I took the job, I kept my private practice open as a safety net, in case the job didn't work out for whatever reason.
Running a business is expensive, exhausting, and stressful. And after my own experience with cancer in 2022, I've tried to do a better job of taking care of myself so that I can do a better job of taking care of others.
I'm tired. And I don't want to spend every moment of my life working.
It's time to let something go.
Thank you, all of you, for believing in me. For trusting me with your health and wellness.

About
Courtney Lantz, Dipl. Ac., L. Ac.
Professional Master's Level Diploma (Acupuncture)
Bachelor of Arts (Philosophy)
Courtney graduated in December of 2018 with honors from the American Institute of Alternative Medicine in Columbus, Ohio with a master's level diploma in acupuncture. She is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, is licensed by the Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure, and is a member of the Kentucky State Acupuncture Association and the American Society of Acupuncturists. While working her way through the program at AIAM, she also earned a certification in reflexology through the same school.
Courtney was introduced to acupuncture after a lengthy battle with her own pain, a five-year struggle for diagnosis, and ultimately little that allopathic medicine could do to control her pain effectively. Through the recommendation of a friend, she had her first experience with acupuncture, and after several months of treatment, saw such great improvement in her symptoms that she felt a calling to learn the healing art herself in order to share it with those who need it.
Because of her personal experience with chronic pain, Courtney's focus is painful conditions, especially those of a musculoskeletal nature. However, she is a general practice acupuncturist and is trained to treat any of the conditions for which acupuncture is indicated. She has an easy going, empathetic, and compassionate personality, and is sure to put you at ease during your treatment.
When she's not working in the clinic, you can find her teaching and performing aerial arts, with a focus on trapeze, aerial yoga, and active mobility. She also loves going on long walks to take pictures of bugs.
Have questions for Courtney? Give us a call, or send us a text, an email, or a message on Facebook! She'd be happy to discuss any of your concerns prior to your appointment.
